"The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention. A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well-intentioned words."

What happened to us? I love you more than you will ever know, but obviously you don’t care anymore. Words can’t describe how hard it is for me to go through school everyday and not think about you. One word from you can brighten my entire day but I can’t even get that.

Anonymous: what annoys you most about the people at your school?

People assume things too much. They see you with someone; they automatically think you’re dating. You don’t talk to someone for one day; they come up with a ridiculous story about how you got in a fight. I guess thats just high school. Everyone in my school is so close-minded. Not liking the people in my school is an understatement.

Anonymous: what would be the single best way to cheer you up if you were having a lousy day?

To surprise me with a chocolate milkshake and watch a movie with me.

Anonymous: you don't have any information about yourself on here. please tell us about you!

I’m Emma. I’m 17. I live on the coast of North Carolina. I play lacrosse. I don’t like my school. My best friend is Alyssa. I don’t have a boyfriend. I’m extremely insecure. Chick-fil-a is my favorite. I really like Snapple. I like books, but I don’t like to read. Alyssa reads to me. I am a huge tomboy, but I like to get dressed up for nice occasions. No matter what you think, you don’t know anything about me. Enough about me, what about you?
